This is a post-pump (secondary) fuel filter — install it downstream of the fuel pump, such as near the carburetor or fuel rail, rather than between the fuel tank and pump.
What fittings does this filter use?
It uses a 1/8" NPT threaded inlet and a 5/16" hose barb outlet. Verify your fuel line size and fitting configuration before ordering.
Is this compatible with E85 or alcohol-based fuels?
The specifications list gasoline compatibility only. Confirm with the manufacturer before using E85 or other alcohol-blended fuels.
