Description

For fuel systems that need contamination control and steady delivery, this filter uses serviceable filter media and application-focused port sizing.

Fuel Filtration & Flow Performance
The 40-micron filtration rating helps capture particles before they reach the pump, carburetor, regulator, or EFI components. The filter is listed for post pump placement. Fuel compatibility is listed as Gasoline. Match filtration level to the pump location and fuel-system requirements before installation.

Construction & Fuel-System Durability
The steel body to support durability, corrosion resistance, and service access in the engine bay or chassis-mounted locations.

Sizing, Ports & Installation Details
Connection details include 0.125 in. NPT inlet threads .

System Matching & Serviceability
Confirm fuel type, micron rating, hose ends, mounting clearance, and service access before final assembly.

Q&A

What is this filter's micron rating?
40 microns.

Where should this filter be installed?
This is a post-pump (secondary) fuel filter — install it downstream of the fuel pump, such as near the carburetor or fuel rail, rather than between the fuel tank and pump.

What fittings does this filter use?
It uses a 1/8" NPT threaded inlet and a 5/16" hose barb outlet. Verify your fuel line size and fitting configuration before ordering.

Is this compatible with E85 or alcohol-based fuels?
The specifications list gasoline compatibility only. Confirm with the manufacturer before using E85 or other alcohol-blended fuels.

Can this be used as a standalone filter, or does it require another filter upstream?
This is designed as a secondary filter and is best used with a primary pre-pump filter upstream for additional fuel-system protection.

How often should this filter be replaced?
Replace it as part of routine fuel-system maintenance, or sooner if contamination or restricted fuel flow indicates service is needed.

Is this filter serviceable, or fully disposable?
Confirm with the manufacturer whether the internal element is serviceable or replaceable, or whether the complete filter should be replaced when contaminated.

Will this fit inline with rubber fuel hose, or does it require hard line?
The 5/16" hose barb outlet is designed for compatible rubber fuel hose. The 1/8" NPT inlet may require a threaded fitting or adapter depending on your fuel-line configuration.

Emissions Notice

This Top Street Performance (TSP) product is designed for racing and off-road competition use only. It is not legal for use on public roads or emissions-controlled vehicles and does not comply with federal, state, or local emissions regulations. The buyer assumes all responsibility for legal use and installation.

What is a Emissions-Controlled Vehicle?
"An emissions-controlled vehicle is any vehicle equipped with a factory-installed emissions control system designed to reduce air pollution. These systems include catalytic converters, oxygen sensors, EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valves, and diesel particulate filters (DPF). Most vehicles manufactured after 1975 are considered emissions-controlled and must comply with federal and state emissions laws when used on public roads."
