Description

Built for dependable fuel filtration, this component supports clean fuel flow, fuel-system serviceability, and installation flexibility in properly matched applications.

Fuel Filtration & Flow Performance
The 100-micron filtration rating helps capture particles before they reach the pump, carburetor, regulator, or EFI components. The filter is listed for post pump placement. Fuel compatibility is listed as Diesel. Match filtration level to the pump location and fuel-system requirements before installation.

Construction & Fuel-System Durability
The steel body to support durability, corrosion resistance, and service access in the engine bay or chassis-mounted locations.

Sizing, Ports & Installation Details
Connection details include 0.125 in. NPT inlet threads .

System Matching & Serviceability
Confirm fuel type, micron rating, hose ends, mounting clearance, and service access before final assembly.

Q&A

What is this filter's micron rating?
100 microns.

Is this filter specifically for diesel, or can it be used with gasoline?
This filter is rated for diesel fuel. A separate 40-micron gasoline version (JM1034) of this same filter style is available for gasoline applications.

Where should this filter be installed?
This is a post-pump (secondary) fuel filter — install it downstream of the fuel pump, not between the fuel tank and pump.

What fittings does this filter use?
It uses a 1/8" NPT threaded inlet and a 5/16" hose barb outlet. Verify your fuel line size and fitting configuration before ordering.

Can this be used as a standalone filter, or does it require another filter upstream?
This is designed as a secondary filter and is best used with a primary pre-pump filter upstream rather than as the only filtration in the fuel system.

Is this suitable for use with biodiesel blends?
Confirm with the manufacturer that the filter media and seals are compatible with your specific biodiesel blend before use.

How often should this filter be replaced?
Replace it as part of routine fuel-system maintenance, or sooner if contamination or restricted fuel flow indicates service is needed.

Will this fit inline with rubber fuel hose, or does it require hard line?
The 5/16" hose barb outlet accepts compatible rubber fuel hose rated for diesel service. The 1/8" NPT inlet may require a threaded fitting or adapter depending on your fuel-line configuration.

Emissions Notice

This Top Street Performance (TSP) product is designed for racing and off-road competition use only. It is not legal for use on public roads or emissions-controlled vehicles and does not comply with federal, state, or local emissions regulations. The buyer assumes all responsibility for legal use and installation.

What is a Emissions-Controlled Vehicle?
"An emissions-controlled vehicle is any vehicle equipped with a factory-installed emissions control system designed to reduce air pollution. These systems include catalytic converters, oxygen sensors, EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valves, and diesel particulate filters (DPF). Most vehicles manufactured after 1975 are considered emissions-controlled and must comply with federal and state emissions laws when used on public roads."
