Description

TSP's chrome cap cover gives your Saginaw P Series power steering pump a finished, dressed-up look in seconds. It's a snap-on cover that fits directly over your existing pump cap — no tools, no fluid drain, and no disassembly of the pump reservoir required.

This is a cosmetic accessory, not a replacement cap. It doesn't seal fluid or affect pump pressure, so it installs (and removes) independent of any pump service work. If you're chroming out an engine bay, cleaning up a Saginaw P Series pump under the hood, or finishing a resto or pro-touring build, this cover is a low-cost way to eliminate the plain factory cap look without touching the pump internals.

Compatible with any vehicle running a factory or aftermarket Saginaw P Series power steering pump — no other fitment requirements apply.

Applications
Fits any Saginaw P Series power steering pump, regardless of vehicle make, model, or engine — compatibility is based on pump cap style, not vehicle year or engine family.

Installation
Snaps directly onto the existing pump cap by hand. No fluid needs to be removed, no fittings are disturbed, and no special tools are needed for install or removal.

Q&A

Will this fit my power steering pump?
This cap cover is designed to fit Saginaw P Series power steering pump caps. The snap-on design is engineered specifically for that cap style and is not a universal fit for other power steering pump families.

Do I need to drain my power steering fluid to install this?
No. The cover snaps over the existing reservoir cap, so there is no need to remove the cap, open the reservoir, or drain the power steering fluid.

Is this a replacement cap, or does it go over my existing one?
This is a decorative cap cover that snaps over your existing Saginaw P Series power steering pump cap. It does not replace the factory cap or perform any sealing function.

Will this affect my power steering pressure or performance?
No. This is a cosmetic accessory only and has no effect on power steering pressure, fluid flow, or overall steering system performance.

What's it made of, and will it hold up under the hood?
The cover is made from chrome-finished plastic to provide a bright, polished appearance. It is intended as an engine dress-up accessory and is designed for normal under-hood use, but it is not a structural or heat-bearing component.
