Description

Upgrade your Ford Small Block with the Top Street Performance Dual Plane Air Gap Intake Manifold. Designed for carbureted 221, 260, 289, and 302 Ford Windsor engine applications, this polished aluminum intake manifold combines the low-end torque and drivability of a traditional dual-plane design with the airflow advantages of an air-gap intake manifold. It is an excellent choice for street performance builds, classic Mustangs, hot rods, restomods, street trucks, and weekend strip applications.

The air-gap plenum design creates an open space beneath the intake runners to help reduce heat transfer from the engine into the air/fuel mixture. By helping maintain a cooler intake charge, the manifold supports improved combustion efficiency, throttle response, and power production throughout the RPM range. Unlike many race-oriented intake manifolds, the dual-plane configuration maintains excellent street manners while supporting strong mid-range and upper-RPM performance.

Engineered to perform best from approximately 1,500 to 6,500 RPM, this intake manifold delivers a broad power curve suitable for everything from daily-driven classics to street/strip combinations. The runner and plenum design help provide balanced airflow distribution between cylinders, supporting dependable performance across a wide range of engine combinations.

Cast from lightweight aluminum, the manifold reduces weight compared to factory cast iron intake manifolds while providing a polished finish that enhances engine bay appearance. Additional performance features include integrated nitrous bosses, a rear water crossover with auxiliary ports, a square-bore carburetor flange, and a low-profile design that can help improve hood clearance in many applications.

Whether you're building a carbureted 302 street machine, upgrading a classic 289 Mustang, finishing a hot rod project, or improving airflow on a Ford Windsor-powered performance build, the TSP Air Gap Intake Manifold delivers the airflow capability, drivability, and appearance enthusiasts expect from a premium induction upgrade.

Air-Gap Design
The open air-gap plenum helps isolate the intake runners from engine heat, reducing heat transfer into the air/fuel mixture. This design helps maintain a cooler intake charge during street and performance driving conditions.

Street & Strip Performance
Designed to operate from 1,500 to 6,500 RPM, the dual-plane runner layout provides strong low-end torque, responsive acceleration, and dependable street drivability while supporting increased airflow at higher engine speeds.

Performance Features
Additional features include a square-bore carburetor flange, integrated nitrous bosses, rear water crossover provisions with auxiliary ports, and a low-profile design that can help improve hood clearance in many performance applications.

Q&A

Will this intake manifold fit a Ford 302 engine?
Yes. This intake manifold is designed for Ford Small Block Windsor applications including 302 cubic inch engines.

What is the benefit of an air-gap intake manifold?
The air-gap design helps reduce heat transfer into the intake runners, helping maintain a cooler air/fuel charge for improved performance.

Does this intake manifold fit a 351 Windsor?
No. This intake manifold is not designed for 351 Windsor applications.

What carburetor flange does this intake use?
The manifold utilizes a square-bore 4-barrel carburetor flange.

What RPM range is this intake designed for?
The dual-plane air-gap design performs best between approximately 1,500 and 6,500 RPM.

Will this intake fit under a stock hood?
The low-profile design helps improve hood clearance, but final clearance depends on carburetor, spacer, air cleaner, and vehicle combination.
