Description

Upgrade your Ford Small Block Windsor engine with the Top Street Performance Dual Plane Air Gap Intake Manifold. Designed for carbureted 260, 289, and 302 Ford small block applications, this satin aluminum intake manifold combines the drivability and low-end torque of a traditional dual-plane intake with the airflow advantages of an air-gap design. It is an ideal upgrade for classic Mustangs, Broncos, F-100 trucks, street rods, restomods, and street/strip performance builds.

The open air-gap plenum design creates a thermal barrier between the intake runners and engine heat. By reducing heat transfer into the air/fuel mixture, the manifold helps maintain a cooler intake charge that can support improved throttle response, torque production, and overall engine efficiency. Unlike many race-focused intake manifolds, it retains excellent street manners while providing performance gains throughout the operating range.

Designed to perform best between 1,500 and 6,500 RPM, this intake manifold delivers a broad power curve that works well in street-driven vehicles, weekend cruisers, and mild racing applications. The dual-plane runner configuration provides balanced airflow distribution while maintaining strong low-end response and mid-range acceleration.

Cast from lightweight aluminum, the manifold features a satin finish that provides a clean performance appearance while reducing engine weight compared to factory cast iron intakes. Additional performance features include nitrous bosses, a rear water crossover with auxiliary ports, a square-bore carburetor flange, and a low-profile design that helps improve hood clearance in many applications.

Whether you're upgrading a carbureted 302 street machine, building a 289-powered Mustang, restoring a classic Ford, or improving airflow on a Windsor-powered hot rod, the TSP Air Gap Intake Manifold delivers the performance, drivability, and engine bay appearance enthusiasts expect from a modern induction upgrade.

Air-Gap Design
The open air-gap plenum helps isolate the intake runners from engine heat, reducing heat transfer into the incoming air/fuel mixture. This design helps maintain a cooler intake charge during street and performance driving conditions.

Street & Strip Performance
The dual-plane runner layout delivers strong low-end torque and responsive throttle control while supporting power production from 1,500 to 6,500 RPM. This makes it well suited for street performance vehicles and mild street/strip combinations.

Performance Features
Additional features include a square-bore carburetor flange, integrated nitrous bosses, rear water crossover provisions with auxiliary ports, and a low-profile design that can help improve hood clearance in many applications.

Lightweight Aluminum Construction
Cast aluminum construction helps reduce weight compared to factory cast iron manifolds while providing durability and a clean satin finish for performance-oriented engine compartments.

Q&A

Will this intake manifold fit a Ford 302 engine?
Yes. This intake manifold is designed for Ford Small Block Windsor applications including 302 cubic inch engines.

What is the benefit of an air-gap intake manifold?
The air-gap plenum helps reduce heat transfer into the intake runners, helping maintain a cooler air/fuel charge for improved performance.

Does this intake manifold fit a 351 Windsor?
No. This intake manifold is not designed for 351 Windsor applications.

What carburetor flange does this intake use?
The manifold features a square-bore 4-barrel carburetor flange for common 4150-style carburetor applications.

What RPM range is this intake designed for?
The dual-plane air-gap design performs best between approximately 1,500 and 6,500 RPM.

Will this intake fit under a stock hood?
The low-profile design helps improve hood clearance, but final clearance depends on carburetor, air cleaner, spacer, and vehicle combination.

Emissions Notice

This Top Street Performance (TSP) product is designed for racing and off-road competition use only. It is not legal for use on public roads or emissions-controlled vehicles and does not comply with federal, state, or local emissions regulations.
