This 40-micron stainless steel element is a replacement fuel filter for TSP billet aluminum fuel filter housings, restoring filtration performance in a compatible housing during routine service. Unlike a disposable paper element, stainless steel construction supports cleaning and reuse. The 40-micron rating captures fuel-system contaminants while maintaining appropriate fuel flow.
This element physically fits three TSP housings — JM1021 (sold with a 10 micron element), JM1022 (sold with a 40 micron element, matching this element's spec), and JM1023 (sold with a 100 micron element) — since all three share the same element dimensions.
