Product Details

Features

  • Replacement paper element for TSP billet fuel filter housings
  • 10-micron rating for fine fuel-system filtration
  • Fits JM1021, JM1022, and JM1023 housings — same dimensions
  • Using in a different-micron housing changes that filter's spec

Description

This 10-micron paper element is a replacement fuel filter for TSP billet aluminum fuel filter housings, restoring filtration performance in a compatible housing during routine service. The 10-micron rating captures fine fuel-system contaminants while maintaining appropriate fuel flow.

This element physically fits three TSP housings — JM1021 (sold with a 10 micron element), JM1022 (sold with a 40 micron element), and JM1023 (sold with a 100 micron element) — since all three share the same element dimensions. Installing this 10-micron element in a JM1022 or JM1023 housing will change that filter's filtration performance from its original spec, since it's designed to hold a coarser element.

Use only with compatible housings and inspect seals during replacement. Replace as part of routine fuel-system maintenance when contamination, restriction, or service history requires it.

Applications
Fits TSP billet aluminum fuel filter housings JM1021, JM1022, and JM1023; used for routine fuel-system service and replacement when filtration is restricted or contaminated.

Micron Rating Compatibility
This is a 10-micron element. It physically fits JM1021 (10 micron, matching spec), JM1022 (40 micron, original spec), and JM1023 (100 micron, original spec) housings — but using it in a JM1022 or JM1023 housing changes that filter's performance from what it was sold with.

NOTES
This is a 10-micron element — using it in a housing sold with a different micron rating will change that filter's filtration performance from its original spec.

COMMON APPLICATIONS
Routine service/replacement for JM1021/1022/1023 fuel filter housings
Fuel-system maintenance when filtration is restricted or contaminated

Q&A

Will this element fit my JM1022 or JM1023 housing?
Yes, physically — the JM1021, JM1022, and JM1023 housings share the same element dimensions. However, installing this 10-micron element in a JM1022 (originally 40 micron) or JM1023 (originally 100 micron) housing will change the filter's filtration performance from its original specification.

What micron rating is this element?
10 microns.

Do I need to cut this element to fit?
No — this element is designed to fit without cutting or modification.

How do I know when to replace this element?
Replace the element as part of routine fuel-system maintenance when it becomes contaminated, restricted, or when its service history indicates replacement is due.

What's this element made of?
Paper.

This Top Street Performance (TSP) product is designed for racing and off-road competition use only. It is not legal for use on public roads or emissions-controlled vehicles and does not comply with federal, state, or local emissions regulations. The buyer assumes all responsibility for legal use and installation.

What is a Emissions-Controlled Vehicle?
"An emissions-controlled vehicle is any vehicle equipped with a factory-installed emissions control system designed to reduce air pollution. These systems include catalytic converters, oxygen sensors, EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valves, and diesel particulate filters (DPF). Most vehicles manufactured after 1975 are considered emissions-controlled and must comply with federal and state emissions laws when used on public roads."
