These valve covers are built for the Ford 335-Series V8 family — 351C (Cleveland), 351M (Modified), and 400 CID. Despite the shared "351" designation, this is not compatible with the 351 Windsor: 351W is a completely different engine family and does not use this cover.

Common platforms include Ford Mustang, Torino, and Ranchero; Ford LTD and Galaxie (351C/400, early 1970s full-size); Ford F-Series (351M/400 truck applications); and Mercury Cougar, Montego, and Marquis.

Construction is chrome-plated steel with a plain top style and a 3 5/8 in. height, using a perimeter-bolt mounting pattern. Internal baffling is built in to help control oil movement and reduce blow-by. These covers are sold as a pair without gaskets, grommets, or mounting hardware, so those should be sourced to match your specific application.
