Product Details

Features

  • Single-pass heat sink design cools transmission fluid, no airflow needed
  • Compact finned aluminum construction mounts in tight spaces
  • Uses 3/8" NPT fittings — larger than TSP's dual-pass cooler line
  • 24" tube length; confirm 26 1/4" x 3 1/4" overall footprint fits

Description

Cooler transmission fluid helps prevent damage under demanding conditions, supports more reliable shifting, and extends automatic transmission life. This single-pass heat sink transmission cooler is built to deliver that benefit without requiring airflow, thanks to its compact finned aluminum design — making it mountable in a wide range of locations.

This cooler fits any application using 3/8" NPT hose fittings, with 3/8" NPT female threads on both inlet and outlet — larger than TSP's dual-pass cooler line, which uses 1/4" NPT. Verify your hose fitting size matches 3/8" NPT before ordering, especially if comparing against the dual-pass line. Two hose fittings are included. Fluid capacity is 28 oz.

Before installing, confirm your available mounting space against the full 26 1/4" x 3 1/4" overall dimensions — the "24"" in this cooler's name refers to tube length, not the total footprint.

Applications
Universal fit for any application using 3/8" NPT hose fittings; used for automatic transmission cooling on street, tow, and performance applications, and for applications specifically requiring 3/8" NPT fitting compatibility.

Sizing
24" tube length, 26 1/4" x 3 1/4" overall dimensions, 1 cooling row (single-pass), 28 oz fluid capacity, 3/8" NPT female threads (inlet and outlet).

Q&A

Does this cooler need airflow to work?
No — this cooler uses a heat sink design that does not require direct airflow, allowing it to be mounted in a variety of locations.

What's the difference between this and TSP's dual-pass cooler line?
This is a single-pass design with one cooling row and uses 3/8" NPT fittings. TSP's dual-pass cooler line uses two cooling rows and 1/4" NPT fittings, so the fitting sizes are not interchangeable between the two lines.

Is 24" the total length I need to plan mounting space for?
No — 24 inches refers to the cooler's tube length. The complete mounting footprint is 26¼" x 3¼", so use those dimensions when checking available installation space.

What hose fitting size does this cooler use?
The inlet and outlet use 3/8" NPT female threads. Two hose fittings are included.

How much transmission fluid does this cooler hold?
This cooler has a 28 oz fluid capacity.
