This steel universal canister ignition coil bracket is designed for classic points/HEI-era applications using a round canister-style ignition coil up to 2½" in diameter. It positions the coil correctly while improving the finished look and serviceability of the engine bay.

Steel construction is built to handle normal engine vibration, accessory load, and repeated service use. The chrome finish gives the installation a cleaner, more complete look for street, show, and performance builds. Mounting hardware is not included — source separately.

Commonly used on classic Chevrolet/GM V8 applications with points or HEI ignition, street rod, muscle car, and restoration builds retaining a canister-style coil, and distributor-based ignition service or upgrade projects. Not intended for GM LS engines, which use a coil-on-plug ignition system incompatible with a canister-style bracket.
