Description

This LS flexplate adapter supports GM LS Gen III/IV engine swap combinations that use an earlier GM automatic transmission and matching torque converter setup. The steel construction and included mounting hardware help establish the correct crankshaft-to-converter spacing for the transmission combinations noted below.

Use it when the LS crankshaft, flexplate, torque converter, and transmission require added spacing for proper converter pilot engagement. Confirm crank length, flexplate offset, converter depth, and transmission model before installation.

Fits Chevrolet Small Block V8 Gen III/IV (LS-based) engines: 4.8L/293 (LR4, LY2, L20), 5.3L/325 (LM7, L59, LM4, L33, LY5, LC9, LH6, LH8, LH9, LMF), 5.7L/346 (LS1, LS6), 6.0L/364 (LQ9, LS2, LY6, L96, LFA, LZ1), and 6.2L/376 (LS3, L99, LS9, LSA). Will this fit an LQ4 engine?
No — this adapter will not fit LQ4 engines, even though other 6.0L LS engines (LQ9, LS2, LY6, L96, LFA, LZ1) are compatible.

What's the difference between this and the Short Crank version?
This adapter requires a dished flexplate. TSP's Short Crank Transmission Adapter Flexplate Spacer (SKU 81111) is more versatile — it works with either a flat or dished flexplate. The two can generally be used in place of one another, but if your build uses a flat flexplate, you'll need SKU 81111 instead.
