Description

This 1/2" NPT to 5/8" hose barb fitting connects a 1/2" NPT coolant port to a 5/8" heater hose. The straight satin aluminum fitting measures 1 3/4" overall, built for clean heater hose routing on compatible intake manifold and water pump coolant ports.

Use it for heater hose service, cooling system assembly, intake manifold plumbing, water pump hose connections, or engine swap coolant routing. While this fitting can be used for many applications, it was designed with Chevy V8 intake manifolds in mind. Confirm NPT thread engagement, hose inside diameter, clamp selection, and coolant hose clearance before installation, and use thread sealant compatible with coolant.

What's the difference between this and the 3/4" hose barb version?
This fitting uses a 5/8" hose barb and is 1 3/4" long, designed with intake manifold coolant ports in mind. TSP's 3/4" version (SKU SP9125) is longer at 2 7/8" and designed with water pump coolant ports in mind. Both use the same 1/2" NPT thread.
