Description

This is a GM Type II (Saginaw TC series) hydraulic power steering pump with a chrome aluminum housing and an integral 8 oz black plastic reservoir with cap. It features a 3/8" hose barb inlet and -6AN threaded outlet, a smooth press-on shaft for press-fit pulley attachment, and an 8 oz black plastic reservoir — giving you a compact, complete pump assembly at a lower price point than the larger aluminum reservoir versions.

The 8 oz plastic reservoir keeps this pump lighter and more compact than aluminum reservoir designs, making it a practical choice for tighter Type II bracket setups where space is at a premium. The chrome housing suits builds running a chrome accessory drive theme, while the black plastic reservoir adds a contrasting two-tone appearance.

A compatible press-fit pulley and press-fit installation tool are required — the smooth press-on shaft is not compatible with screw-on hub pulleys. A compatible pulley and mounting hardware are sold separately. This pump is commonly used on GM LS engine swap projects, Corvette accessory drive systems, custom street rod and muscle car serpentine builds, and aftermarket serpentine accessory drive conversions running a GM Type II bracket system.
