Description
This two-piece polished aluminum timing cover is built to replace a cracked, warped, or leaking factory timing cover on GM LS1/LS6 engines — 5.7L/346 in³, 1997-2004. The two-piece design seals the timing chain area while giving the front of the engine a clean, finished appearance.
This kit includes a timing cover gasket and crankshaft seal, ready for a leak-free installation without sourcing those parts separately. Mounting hardware is not included, and this cover does not include a camshaft position sensor provision, sensor harness, or timing pointer. Confirm timing cover style, balancer clearance, and sensor provisions before installation.

Is the LS1/LS6 a 350 or 346 cubic inch engine?
346 cubic inches (5.7L). It's sometimes informally called "the 350" because it shares displacement class with the older small block Chevy 350, but the actual LS1/LS6 displacement is 346 in³.
