Description
This one-piece black aluminum timing cover is built to replace a cracked, warped, or leaking factory timing cover on GM LS1/LS6 engines — 5.7L/346 in³, 1997-2004. The one-piece design seals the timing chain area while giving the front of the engine a clean, finished appearance.
This cover includes a built-in oil drain return, simplifying oil return routing on turbocharged LS1/LS6 builds without adding a separate fitting or modification. Mounting hardware is included. Gasket, crankshaft seal, camshaft position sensor provision, sensor harness, and timing pointer are not included. Confirm timing cover style, balancer clearance, and sensor provisions before installation.
