Description

This MAP sensor harness adapter is designed to help complete a Velocity intake installation on early Gen III LS engines. It converts the factory Gen III LS wiring harness connector to the Gen IV MAP sensor style (GM #12592525) used on TSP Velocity intake manifolds — allowing LS1/LS6 and LS2 engines to run the newer sensor without modifying the factory harness.

At 6" in length, this adapter has a Gen III-style female connector on the harness side and a Gen IV-style connector on the sensor side — genuinely different plug styles on each end, unlike a same-style extension cable. Confirm your engine's factory harness connector is Gen III LS style before ordering.


Applications

What's the difference between this and the MAP sensor extension cable?
This adapter converts between two different connector styles — Gen III LS harness to Gen IV sensor — for LS1/LS6/LS2 engines. TSP's MAP sensor harness extension (SKU 81034) uses the same Gen IV connector style on both ends and is meant to relocate a sensor that's already Gen IV-compatible (LS3, LS9, LSA), not convert between generations.

Will this work on an LS3, LS9, or LSA engine?
No — those engines already use the Gen IV connector natively. This adapter is for Gen III engines (LS1/LS6, LS2) that need to run a Gen IV-style sensor.
