This 30° aluminum water neck creates the coolant outlet connection between the LS thermostat housing and upper radiator hose, with a chrome finish that gives the engine bay a clean, finished look. This water neck is built for GM LS Gen III/IV small block V8 engines only — 4.8L (LR4, LY2), 5.3L (LM7, L59, LM4, L33, LC9, LH6, LY5, LMG), 5.7L (LS1, LS6), 6.0L (LQ4, LQ9, LS2, LY6, L76, L96), and 6.2L (LS3, L92, L99, LSA). It is not compatible with Chevy Gen I small block or Mark IV/Gen V/Gen VI big block engines, which use a different thermostat housing design.
