  • Billet 6061-T6 bracket relocates alternator + GM Type 2 PS pump higher, driver side
  • Fits LS1 (5.7L/346) and LS2 (6.0L/364) car-platform engines only
  • Requires remote PS reservoir; PS pulley, belt tensioner, serpentine belt not included
  • Natural finish; companion A/C relocation bracket (#81202) sold separately

Description

TSP's LS relocation bracket raises the alternator and GM Type 2 (Saginaw TC-series) power steering pump higher on the driver side, creating clearance in tight LS engine bays where space around the stock accessory layout is limited. It's machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum for a clean, rigid mounting solution.

This bracket fits LS1 (5.7L/346) and LS2 (6.0L/364) engines specifically from the 1998–2002 Camaro/Firebird and 2004–2006 GTO. Because it relocates accessory positioning, it may not fit stock (non-modified) LS applications — this is intended for builds where the accessory layout is already being changed.

A remote power steering reservoir is required and not included. The power steering pump pulley (GM #12568997), belt tensioner (GM #12569301), and serpentine belt are also not included and must be sourced separately. A companion bracket for A/C compressor relocation (TSP #81202) is available separately if needed.

Applications
Fits LS1 and LS2 engines in Chevrolet Camaro, Pontiac Firebird (1998–2002), and Pontiac GTO (2004–2006) car-platform applications. Not designed for stock LS accessory layouts — intended for builds where accessory relocation is already needed.

Installation
Mounts using the included instruction manual and hardware. Requires a remote power steering reservoir (not included). Power steering pump pulley, belt tensioner, and serpentine belt must be sourced separately using the specified GM part numbers.

Q&A

Does this bracket relocate both the alternator and power steering pump?
Yes. This bracket relocates both a GM AD244-style alternator and a GM Type II (Saginaw TC-series) power steering pump to a high driver-side mounting position.

Will this fit my stock LS engine bay?
Not necessarily. Because this bracket changes the factory accessory layout, it may not fit stock LS applications that retain the original accessory drive configuration. Verify available clearance and compatibility with your engine setup before ordering.

Does this include the pulley, tensioner, and belt?
No. The required power steering pump pulley (GM Part No. 12568997), belt tensioner (GM Part No. 12569301), and serpentine belt are not included and must be purchased separately.

Do I need a remote reservoir with this bracket?
Yes. This bracket is designed for use with a remote power steering reservoir, which is required but not included.

Is there a matching bracket for my A/C compressor?
Yes. TSP offers a separate A/C compressor relocation bracket (Part No. 81202) that is designed to complement this alternator and power steering relocation bracket for a complete accessory drive system.
