This fiber differential cover gasket is sized and punched for AMC Model 20 rear axle housings with a 12-bolt cover pattern. It's a direct replacement for a leaking, damaged, or missing cover gasket, providing a reliable fiber seal between the differential cover and axle housing sealing rail during cover reinstallation, fluid changes, or cover upgrades.

The AMC Model 20 uses a 12-bolt cover pattern alongside an 8-bolt ring gear — the two counts differ and are often referenced independently when cross-shopping gaskets, so confirm both specs against your axle before ordering. This axle is commonly found in Jeep CJ-series vehicles, AMC Javelin, AMC AMX, AMC Matador, and Jeep J-Series trucks.
