Description
The Fox Body Mustang GT and LX 5.0 use a dual-sump oil pan design that's different from other small block Windsor 302 applications. This unplated steel pan is a direct fit for 1991-1993 Mustang 5.0L applications, matching the factory dual-sump layout.
It can also be used in 1983-1990 Mustang 5.0L applications, but requires the 1991-1993 oil pump pickup tube to fit correctly — the 1983-1990 pickup will not work with this pan.
The pan holds 4 quarts and uses a wet-sump design with dual sump locations, matching the factory Fox Body layout. It has a 1/2"-20 drain plug thread with the drain plug included. This pan does not include internal baffling, a windage tray, gasket, or oil pickup, and does not have a dipstick provision — these will need to be sourced or accounted for separately as needed for your build.
Constructed from steel with a unplated finish, the pan adds a polished, show-quality appearance to Fox Body Mustang engine bays.
