Description
Ford's 351 Windsor (351W) small block V8 uses a front-sump oiling layout distinct from the 335-series 351C/351M/400 engines. This chrome-plated steel pan is built specifically for the 351W, fitting most front-sump applications produced from 1969 through 1981, including Mustang (1969-1973), Torino, LTD, Galaxie, Cougar, Montego, Marquis, and F-Series trucks and Bronco (2WD).
The pan holds 4 quarts and uses a wet-sump design with the sump located at the front, matching the factory 351W layout. It has a 1/2"-20 drain plug thread with the drain plug included. This pan does not include internal baffling, a windage tray, gasket, or oil pickup, and does not have a dipstick provision — these will need to be sourced or accounted for separately as needed for your build.
Constructed from steel with a chrome finish, the pan adds a polished, show-quality appearance to 351W-powered engine bays.
