Description
Ford's FE-series big block V8 uses a front-sump oiling layout across a wide range of displacements. This gold zinc steel pan is built for that family, fitting 5.8L (352 in³), 5.9L (360 in³), 6.4L (390 in³), 6.6L (406 in³), 7.0L (427 in³), and 7.0L (428 in³) FE engines.
The pan holds 4 quarts and uses a wet-sump design with the sump located at the front, matching the factory FE layout. It has a 1/2"-20 drain plug thread with the drain plug included. This pan does not include internal baffling, a windage tray, gasket, or oil pickup, and does not have a dipstick provision — these will need to be sourced or accounted for separately as needed for your build.
This pan will not fit 428 Cobra Jet or Super Cobra Jet engines, which use a different oiling configuration than the standard FE lineup.
Constructed from steel with a gold zinc finish, the pan adds a polished, show-quality appearance to FE-powered engine bays.
