Description
Ford's 335-series V8 — sold as the 351 Cleveland (351C), 351 Modified (351M), and 400 — uses a front-sump oiling layout that's different from the Windsor-series 351W. This gold zinc steel pan is built specifically for the 335-series engine in rear-wheel-drive applications, including trucks, from 1970 through 1982.
The pan holds 4 quarts and uses a wet-sump design with the sump located at the front, matching the factory 335-series layout. It has a 1/2"-20 drain plug thread with the drain plug included. This pan does not include internal baffling, a windage tray, gasket, or oil pickup, and does not have a dipstick provision — these will need to be sourced or accounted for separately as needed for your build.
This pan is not designed for 4-wheel-drive applications or for the 351 Windsor (351W) engine, which uses a different oiling configuration entirely.
Constructed from steel with a gold zinc finish, the pan adds a polished, show-quality appearance to 351C, 351M, and 400-powered engine bays.

Fits Ford 335-series V8 engines: 351 Cleveland (351C), 351 Modified (351M), and 400. RWD applications only, including trucks, from 1970 through 1982. Not compatible with 4WD applications or the 351 Windsor (351W).
