Description

Ford's AOD (Automatic Overdrive) transmission is found across a wide range of 1980s and early-1990s Ford and Mercury vehicles, and this flexible braided stainless steel dipstick is built for that transmission. It mounts at the firewall and routes to the transmission case.

It's commonly used in AOD-equipped Ford Mustang, LTD, and Crown Victoria; Ford F-Series trucks and Bronco; and Mercury Grand Marquis and Cougar.

The dipstick measures 27 inches and uses a flexible braided stainless steel tube, which can route around firewall and engine bay obstructions more easily than a rigid tube. It is a fixed, non-locking design.

Featuring a chrome-finished aluminum handle, the dipstick adds a polished, show-quality appearance to the engine bay.
