Description

Upgrade your Mopar small block with the Top Street Performance Chrysler Small Block Dual Plane Air Gap Intake Manifold. Designed for carbureted Chrysler LA and Magnum engine applications, this black aluminum intake manifold features a dual bolt pattern for compatibility with both LA and Magnum cylinder heads. The dual-plane air-gap design combines strong low-end torque and excellent street manners with the airflow needed to support mid-range and upper-RPM performance.

The air-gap plenum design creates an open space beneath the intake runners to help reduce heat transfer from the engine. By keeping the incoming air/fuel mixture cooler, the manifold helps improve combustion efficiency, throttle response, and overall engine performance. This design is especially beneficial for street performance vehicles, muscle cars, hot rods, drag cars, and classic Mopar restorations where consistent power delivery is important.

Engineered for operation from approximately 1,500 to 6,500 RPM, this manifold supports a wide range of performance builds while maintaining excellent drivability. The lightweight aluminum construction reduces front-end weight compared to factory cast iron manifolds while providing improved airflow distribution for enhanced horsepower and torque potential.

Additional performance features include a square-bore carburetor mounting flange, integrated nitrous bosses, rear water crossover with auxiliary ports, and a low-profile design that helps improve hood clearance in many vehicle applications. The black finish delivers a show-quality appearance that complements restored and custom engine compartments alike.

Common applications include Mopar muscle cars, street machines, hot rods, restomods, and carbureted Chrysler LA and Magnum small block performance builds. This intake manifold is intended for high-performance and off-road use where increased airflow, improved throttle response, and enhanced engine efficiency are desired.

Air-Gap Design
The air-gap plenum isolates the intake runners from engine heat by creating an air space beneath the manifold. This design helps maintain a cooler intake charge during extended street and performance driving conditions.

Street Performance
Designed for strong low-end torque and responsive mid-range acceleration, the dual-plane runner layout delivers excellent drivability for street cars, muscle cars, hot rods, and weekend performance builds.

Q&A

Will this intake manifold fit a Chrysler 360 engine?
Yes, this intake manifold is designed for Chrysler LA and Magnum small block engine applications, including many 360-based performance builds. Verify cylinder heads, carburetor, and cooling system compatibility before installation.

Is this intake manifold designed for carbureted engines?
Yes. This manifold features a square-bore carburetor flange and is intended for carbureted fuel systems.

What is the benefit of an air-gap intake manifold?
The air-gap design helps reduce heat transfer from the engine into the intake manifold, allowing the air/fuel mixture to remain cooler for improved performance.

What RPM range is this manifold designed for?
This intake manifold performs best from approximately 1,500 to 6,500 RPM.

Does this manifold support nitrous systems?
Yes. The manifold includes integrated nitrous bosses for performance applications.

Will it fit under a stock hood?

Does it use a square-bore carburetor?
Yes. The manifold is designed for square-bore carburetor applications.

Emissions Notice

This Top Street Performance (TSP) product is designed for racing and off-road competition use only. It is not legal for use on public roads or emissions-controlled vehicles and does not comply with federal, state, or local emissions regulations. The buyer assumes all responsibility for legal use and installation.

What is a Emissions-Controlled Vehicle?
"An emissions-controlled vehicle is any vehicle equipped with a factory-installed emissions control system designed to reduce air pollution. These systems include catalytic converters, oxygen sensors, EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valves, and diesel particulate filters (DPF). Most vehicles manufactured after 1975 are considered emissions-controlled and must comply with federal and state emissions laws when used on public roads."
