As a mechanical pump, it draws its pumping action directly from the engine's camshaft via a pushrod — no electric pump, wiring, or power source is needed. This unit requires a 5.75" fuel pump pushrod for proper operation on Small Block Chevy engines. Confirm pump arm style, gasket placement, and line clearance before installation.

This pump is designed for carbureted fuel systems and is not intended for EFI applications unless used with a properly designed and regulated fuel system conversion.
