Description

Chevy small block engines built between 1980 and 1985 use a two-piece rear main seal paired with a passenger-side dipstick — a transitional configuration between earlier and later small block designs that requires a specific oil pan. This unplated steel pan is built for that exact window, fitting Chevrolet small block V8 Gen. I engines in 5.0L (305 in³) and 5.7L (350 in³) displacements.

The pan holds 4 quarts and includes internal baffling to help manage oil movement during acceleration and cornering. It uses a wet-sump design with the sump located at the rear of the pan, and a 1/2"-20 drain plug thread with the drain plug included. The gasket, oil pickup, windage tray, and dipstick are not included and will need to be sourced separately to complete installation.

Constructed from steel with a unplated finish, the pan adds a polished, show-quality appearance to small block engine bays while providing a durable surface finish.
