Description

This chrome steel recessed base is built for universal carbureted air-cleaner applications, fitting carburetors with a 5 1/8" neck diameter in a 14" round size. It's built as a base-only component, so it requires a separately purchased compatible top and filter element to form a complete air-cleaner assembly.

The recessed base design drops the filter 7/8" below the base's upper edge, providing clearance for carburetors with an electric choke — a common fitment need this style specifically addresses. Steel construction with a chrome finish supports stable mounting and a clean engine-bay appearance.
