Overview
Chevrolet Performance MAP sensors accurately produce voltage or frequency as intake manifold pressure changes--and the computer uses this information to measure engine load so that the ignition timing can be advanced and retarded as needed. This is the stock sensor from the LSA and LS9 applications. TSP has designed its Velocity intake manifolds with a bung for this specific sensor.
